Naledi Senior Secondary School is a 42 stream school (21 Form4 and 21 Form5 classes) with a student capacity of 1680. The current enrolment stands at 1777 comprising of 808 boys and 969 girls. The total number of teaching staff is 127 and non-teaching staff is 40.
The school has been divided into five mini-schools called Houses each one led by a Head Of Department. The five mini-schools are called Zebra, Cheetah, Buffalo, Giraffe and Kudu. All issues ranging from psycho-social to academic are addressed at House level before they can be referred to Deputy School and School Head.
The school offers a diverse curriculum comprising Humanities, Sciences and Practical Subjects.
Naledi Senior Secondary School was built and equipped by the World Bank through The Boipelego Project in the Ministry of education and Skills Development and was opened in 1978. It started as a Junior Secondary School offering Junior Certificate and became a fully-fledged Senior Secondary in 1990. The last Junior Certificate was written in 1991.
The school has had its fair share of ups and downs regarding students discipline and academic performance over the years.
